JOB DESCRIPTION
Spa and salon booking software lets people book services for themselves or big groups. Call guests to check the events that are planned. Answer questions about the services that are out there. Throughout the day, keep the list of bookings and cancellations up to date, let providers know about any last-minute changes, and work with your boss or manager to solve any scheduling problems that come up. Check people in for their meetings, make sure they have the right first and last name, and give them a general spa tour when they arrive. Market and sell spa and beauty services. Get the assigned bank and make sure the agreed funds are correct. Get the change needed for the expected amount of business and always keep the bank safe. Take payments from guests for spa and hair services and get permission to pay as needed. Accept cash tips for workers and keep track of them. Accounting lets you add up, scan, and drop records. Tell Engineering what needs to be fixed or maintained.
Tell your boss about any accidents, injuries, or dangerous situations at work. Follow all business rules and instructions; make sure your uniform and personal look are clean and professional; keep secret any private information; and keep the company’s assets safe. As required by the company, greet and acknowledge all guests; anticipate and meet the service needs of guests; help people with disabilities; and thank guests sincerely. When you talk to other people, use clear, professional language, and when you answer the phone, be polite. Build and keep good working relationships with other people. Follow the guidelines and objectives for quality assurance. You may have to stand, sit, or walk for a long time. Things that weigh less than or equal to 10 pounds can be moved, lifted, carried, pushed, pulled, and put down without help. Do any other acceptable tasks that your boss asks you to do on the job.
MOST DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Education: Must have a high school diploma or the appropriate GED.
- Experience with linked Work: Not more than one year of experience with linked work.
- Experience as a boss: I have no experience as a boss.
- Not a licence or certificate.
The hourly rate for this job is between $20 and $23, and the company may give a 401(k) plan, paid time off and/or sick leave, a stock purchase plan, discounts at Marriott hotels, help with commuting, savings on child care, and other health benefits.
