Delaware North Parks and Resorts is looking for a part-time Front Desk Clerk and Night Auditor who is good with people to work for us at The Westin Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. You will never have a dull day at work because you will be in an interesting, fast-paced setting. What are you going to do?
- Run the night audit function, match up credit card payments, enter sales and hand-written sales sheets, understand the guest tab, get an account of bills, and know how to make any necessary changes.
- Look over the advance payments and charges that are still due, and make sure that guests are checked in and out quickly.
- Give information on room rates and packages, and post charges for accounts held in-house.
- Finish your shift, drop off cash and cheque payments, keep the bank safe at all times and follow all cash handling rules.

Check the daily numbers and make sure they add up. Then, charge guests for room and tax.

You don’t need a high school diploma or GED.
Experience with handling cash before
Previous work experience in customer service is helpful.
Ability to talk to guests and team members; good conversation skills
Basic math skills; the ability to handle money and count change correctly; knowledge of how to use Microsoft Excel
Needs for the body
Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move things up to 30 pounds over and over again for long periods of time.
Overnight Extra time as needed
